Youth & Mentoring Department Intern   

Position Description:

Quincy Asian Resources Inc.’s Youth & Mentoring Department is seeking an intern for 8-20 hours per week. An interest in the nonprofit sector, Asian-American culture, and working with youth is preferred. The intern will assist the Assistant Youth Program Director and the Senior Director of Youth Programs in the oversight and administrative aspects of running and effective program.  

At QARI, not only are we looking of interns that will commit to the needs of the agency, but we are also dedicated to the learning and advancement of our interns.   


  • Supports communication with stakeholders through social media

  • Supports adult supervision for field trips, activities, or events when needed

  • Supports day to day activities in the office (program meetings, staff meetings, event meetings, etc.)

  • Performs program data entry and organization

  • Performs other administrative tasks as needed (filing, copying, phones, etc.)


  • Strong computer skills including MS Office

  • Familiarity with social media functioning

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with members of a diverse team

  • multi-media skills and passion
