Asian American Commission - Reminder: Scholarship Application due Friday, September 1, 2017!

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Asian American Commission (AAC) is pleased to continue its annual scholarship in the amount of $1000 for an incoming or current college student to use towards their undergraduate education expenses.

Strongest consideration will be given to candidates who would like to continue their studies towards a career in health, human or social services, or civic engagement, and who have a passion for giving back to the AAPI community in Massachusetts.

The scholarship award will be presented at the 6th Annual Young Leaders Symposium on Saturday, September 23, 2017, a free community event, held at the location of the AAC's community partner for this event, Vietnamese American Community Center and Vietnamese American Initiative for Development (Viet AID), 42 Charles Street, Dorchester, MA 02215, from 9am to 2pm.

Registration is REQUIRED to attend this event, and space is limited, so be sure to register today! Deadline to register is September 15, 2017, but registration may close sooner if space capacity is reached prior to then.
