QARI is a long-standing, reputable English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) provider. We offer a variety of FREE programs and options to meet the diverse needs of our community and to make learning English more accessible.
2023 ESOL Classes
QARI offers year-round virtual ESOL classes in 12-week sessions:
Winter Session: Jan 2 - March 31, 2023
February Break (No Classes): Feb. 20 - Feb. 24, 2023
Spring Session: April 3 - June 30, 2023
April Break (No Classes): April 17 - April 21, 2023
Memorial Day (No Class): May 29, 2023
Summer Session: July 10 - September 15, 2023 (*9-Week Accelerated Summer Term)
September Break (No Classes): Sept. 4 - Sept. 8, 2023
Fall Session: September 18 - December 15, 2023
Thanksgiving Break (No Classes): Nov 20 - Nov. 24, 2023
Winter break (No Classes): December 16, 2023 - January 1, 2024
Class Levels: Foundation, Basic, Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced
Class times: Morning 9:00 - 10:30 or 10:30 - 12:00
Evenings 6:30 - 8:00
Class is held twice a week (Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday or Wednesday and Friday)
Class days and times depend on student levels, availability of space and student preferences.
Virtual extra help sessions are held twice a week for all students to review, get help, and ask questions.
All classes are currently offered online on Zoom.
ESOL Classes
Students with foundation through advanced levels of English will learn speaking and listening, reading and writing skills. The focus is on preparation for college or workplace environments.
CLASS REQUIREMENTS
The following are the requirements for all QARI ESOL students:
Attend 80% of classes
Inform teachers of any absences
Commit time and dedication to the class in one full session
Be present for all tests
